MusicInfra + The Royalty Network
MusicInfra has formed a strategic partnership with The Royalty Network, an independent U.S. music publisher with a catalog of more than 800,000 works. The collaboration aims to solve a major industry challenge: matching rightsholder metadata with large‑scale platform data to maximize songwriter revenue. By pairing MusicInfra’s proprietary backend technology — built from deep expertise with YouTube’s Content Management System — with The Royalty Network’s curated metadata, the partnership aims to surface unclaimed or hard‑to‑identify works, resolve metadata conflicts, and more accurately match recordings to their underlying compositions at scale. The Royalty Network president Danny Aboud said the company has partnered with MusicInfra because its metadata tech strengthens its ability to serve songwriters, praising MusicInfra’s “respect, understanding, and care for the bedrock challenges inherent to music publishing… across linguistic, geographic, cultural, and genre boundaries.”
